Eating fish regularly delays dementia 

Note: Another less common food that has been shown to delay or prevent dementia is tumeric. Tumeric is the spice that makes curry powder yellow. Also, if you don't like fish, a high-quality fish oil taken daily is quite good. Just make sure it is from a company that distills out the heavy metals and PCB's. Both of these are dangerous and are commonly found in many species of fish. While salmon possibly the best source of the Omega 3 fatty acids, farm raised salmon can be quite high in these and other toxins.

Omega-3 fatty acids contained in fish have been shown to boost brain functioning as well as cutting the risk of stroke, and eating fish regularly appears to protect the brain as people age, the six-year study of Chicago residents said.
