Positive Effects of Long-term Intake of Germinated Brown Rice against Diabetic Nephropathy 


Using type-2 diabetes mellitus model rats in their experiment, the joint research team discovered that a long-term intake of germinated brown rice helps inhibit the blood sugar level rise and insulin resistance. Further, the intaking effectively slows the loss of renal function.

The company and the university have concluded that the long-term intake of germinated brown rice can inhibit the development of diabetes and prevent diabetic nephropathy.
