Aspirin may curb risk of esophagus cancer  

Note: I do hope that a similar study is done using Tumeric, which has simiar properties as the NSAIDs without the dangerous side-effects.

The use of aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs appears to reduce the risk of cancerous progression in patients with Barrett's esophagus -- a condition in which cells that line the esophagus become abnormal that may be a precursor to cancer.
