Yale Researcher Studying Acupuncture To Reduce Back Pain In Pregnancy

Note: This is an interesting study that appears to me to have fatal flaws in that the only acupuncture treatment being given is ear acupuncture. Most acupuncturists will use at least several different types of acupuncture in addition to massage, heat, tui-na (a form a Chinese manipulation therapy), nutritional support, and herbal support. I'll be quite interested in seeing the results of this study, but even if it turns out negative, I will still successfully treat back pain in pregnant women, with a great deal of success, as I have been doing for over 20 years. DocG.

A Yale researcher and expert in the practice of acupuncture is conducting a three-year study on the effectiveness of this ancient Chinese practice in reducing low back pain during pregnancy.
